To access your SEO settings:

  1. Click Settings at the top of your builder.

The SEO settings are in the bottom-right corner.

Robots Text

Robots Text is a way of informing search engines whether to crawl a page or not. All pages on your site will be crawled by default. You will have to modify the Robots.txt file if you want to prevent pages from being crawled by search engines.

To add robots text:
  1.  Select Robots Text under the SEO section.
  2. Copy-paste this format in the Robots Text box.

Disallow: /PageName

  1. Enter the name of the page in the place marked "PageName"
  2. Click Save.

Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic.
Google Analytics 4 

Enter your Measurement ID to gain visitor insights using Google Analytics 4 which is the latest property from Google. They offered advanced reports, and can be used on websites, on apps or even on both for tracking purposes.

Note: Accounts using Google analytics will have an option to upgrade existing analytics tags or add a new GA4 tag. New websites will have  the option to add only the GA4 tags.

To access and add your GA4 tracker ID:

  1. Go to analytics.google.com and log in.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your site name and URL.
  3. Click I Agree for Google Analytics terms and services.
  4. Copy the Measurement ID.
  5. Access your SEO settings in your site builder and click Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  6. Paste your code in GA4 Measurement ID in the box.
  7. Click Save and republish your site.

Meta Tags

Enter your ID to verify your website with google.

To access and add your Meta Tag:

  1. Log in to your Google search console account.
  2. Paste your Websites' URL in the URL prefix section.
  3.  Click Continue.
  4. Select the HTML tag drop-down.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. Access your SEO settings and click Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  7. Paste the code in the Meta Tag box. Remove any code apart from the 43 characters within the double quotes.
  8. Click Save and re-publish your site.
  9. Go back to your Google search console account and click Verify.

Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager allows you to manage tags or snippets of JavaScript that are on your website.

To access and add Google Tag Manager:

  1. Log in to your Google Tag Manager account.
  2. Enter an account name and select a country. 
  3. Enter your websites name in the container name text box and select Web as the target platform. 
  4. Click Create
  5. Click the check box to accept the terms of service, then click Yes.
  6. Copy the GTM code at the top of the page.
  7. Access your SEO settings and click Google Tag Manager.
  8. Paste the code in the Container ID box.
  9. Click Save and republish your site.

Bing Webmaster

Similar to Google, you can enter your tracker ID to gain insight from Bing.

To add Bing webmaster tools:

  1. Access www.bing.com/webmaster/home/mysites.
  2. Enter your site URL in the Add a site box and click ADD.
  3. Fill in all the required details in the ABOUT MY WEBSITE page.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Copy the meta tag. 
  6. Access your SEO settings and click Bing Webmaster.
  7. Paste your code in the Meta Tag box.
  8. Click Save and republish your site.
  9. Go back to your webmaster tools and click Verify.

Sitemap

A sitemap tells search engines about the page structure of your website. It also provides meta data about your site pages, such as when the page was last updated, how often the page is changed, and page importance. This helps with SEO, as it makes it easier for search engines to find out about the content on your site so that it can appear in the search results.

Note: When you access your Sitemap setting and click the Upload sitemap from your computer switch, the sitemap for your website will be generated and the link to access it will be at the bottom of your screen.

If you would like to upload a sitemap of your own:

  1. Access your SEO settings and click Sitemap.
  2. Click the Upload sitemap.xml from your computer switch.
  3. Click Upload File and select a file from your computer.
  4. Click the updated link at the bottom to view your sitemap.

Reset

Click the Reset [] button if there are any changes you would like to make to your SEO settings before you click Save.
